In order to meet the demand for further miniaturization, our very extensive product range naturally also includes LOW ESR crystals in the ceramic packages 2.5x2.0mm/4pads - our SMD02502/4 series - 2.0x1.6mm/4pads - our SMD02016/4 series - and 1.6x1.2mm/4pads - our SMD01612/4 series. Depending on the package size, the frequency spectrum from 8 - 285 MHz is covered in the fundamental tone. There is therefore a high-quality product solution for every crystal frequency used in the radio sector. This makes it very easy to implement circuits with two capacitors on ground (pierce-oscillator design).

The frequency tolerance at +25°C is ±10 ppm max. The most accurate temperature stabilities are ±10ppm above -20/+70°C, ±15ppm above -40/+85°C, ±30ppm above -40/+105°C, and ±50 ppm above -40/+125°C. Ageing after 10 years is ±10 ppm max.
We recommend the 3.2x2.5mm/4pad housing for design-in. If this hermetically sealed ceramic housing is too large, then our next design-in recommendation is the 2.0x1.6mm/4pad housing, or the LOW ESR radio crystals in the 1.6x1.2mm/4pad, if the 2.0x1.6mm/4pad housing is also too large.
