Many market leaders have canceled the production or availability of the 7.0x5.0mm quartz crystals with 2 and 4 solder pads with immediate effect. This has resulted in enormous uncertainty for all users of this quartz series worldwide, demand can no longer be met on time, assembly lines are at a standstill and financial resources are being burned. Normally, customers are asked by the relevant suppliers/manufacturers to redesign the PCB in order to use smaller SMD crystals. An insane effort that only ties up a huge amount of capacity in development and purchasing, costs a lot of money in many respects and doesn't actually offer the customer any real advantage.
As always, we have taken a different approach! Based on our LRT technology (Low ESR Resonator Technology), we offer SMD crystals MHz 7.0x5.0mm with 2 and 4 solder pads of the SMD0507/2 and SMD0507/4 series in our own housings.
We therefore offer users of 7.0x5.0mm oscillating crystals with 2 and 4 solder pads strategically reliable long-term availability. In addition, we only supply 100% tested clocking components that feature our unique LRT technology and therefore very low resistances, as well as excellent product performance and quality. Our current standard series delivery time is 6 - 8 weeks. This means that everything is ready to support and help new customers immediately.
Another advantage of the 7.0x5.0mm 2 and 4 solder pad crystals is the low input frequency of 6 MHz and the very low resistances (ESR) of this series. This means that the 7.0x5.0mm crystal is also very popular in circuits whose oscillator stage only has a low negative input resistance (= low transient response) or where a low crystal frequency is required in a small housing.
The SMD0507/2 and SMD0507/4 SMD crystals MHz are available with a frequency tolerance at +25°C of ±10ppm, or with temperature ranges of up to -40/+125°C, including automotive solutions based on AECQ200.
